Max is a 20-year veteran of the hotel and hospitality industry and is as specialist in travel and hotel safety & security. After training as a hospital medical technician, he served in the Criminal Investigation Branch Special Squad (Narcotics) in the New South Wales Police Force. He left the force to become the head of security for the Regent International Hotel in Sydney where it he set the benchmarks for hotel safety and security programs throughout the nation. Max founded a successful hotel safety and security consultancy in Singapore, serving hoteliers primarily in the 5-star hotel market. Subsequent to that he worked for a global Hong Kong based risk Management Company specializing in hotel security risk management and major event security. Major events included the Beijing Olympics Games, the Vancouver Winter Olympics and the RSA Football World Cup. He has serviced many high end branded corporate hotels undertaking security risk assessments, food safety audits & training, Information Security Audits, emergency response procedures planning, corporate health, safety and security guidelines and crisis management planning. He is a Justice of the Peace in New South Wales and has an Advance Diploma in the Hospitality Management and a Certificate of Specialisation in Rooms Division Management.
